2008 Parent Information Program

For parents of first year students enrolled in 2008, who want to know what happens at university - keep this day free!

Sunday 17 February, 1.30pm - 3.30pm

Do your parents keep asking you about university, wanting to know what goes on? Tell your parents about the Parent Information Program. It  will answer all their questions, and more.

If you are the parent of a secondary school student this page is for you. With a few key referral points you can support your son or daughter as they work through the challenging process of working through tertiary study options and course and career choice.

How to help your child with study choices

Talk to your child about:

  • their interests, likes and dislikes
  • what they have learnt from work experience or part-time work
  • their hopes and visions for the future.
