Get into the course you want with PPP
WHAT IS THE PORTFOLIO PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (PPP)?
At Victoria University (VU), we believe year 12 students who go to one of our partnership schools should have the opportunity to get into VU based on more than just their ENTER. PPP is about VU assessing your application on your own merits, not just your ENTER. We want to get to know you as an individual, not just as a number.
When you send us your PPP application, provide us with the following in your portfolio:
- any work experience
- your personal skills and qualities
- examples of work
- your goals and achievements
- any extra evidence that supports your interest in one of our courses at VU.
You should put in the time to provide detailed information about yourself - the more we know about you, the better we can evaluate your skills and strengths beyond your ENTER..
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
Please speak with the PPP Coordinator/Career Advisor in your school. Each of our partnership schools can nominate up to 20% of their total year 12 student body for the PPP program. You can apply for any of our Higher Education (degree) and Vocational Education (TAFE) programs at VU.
While acceptance is based on your portfolio, students still need to gain a minimum ENTER of 50.00 to get into our higher education courses - you will also need to meet any course prerequisites. A minimum ENTER is not required for our TAFE courses. Please remember that your PPP application must be sent via your school. It is also vital that the course you are applying for through PPP, is on your list of preferences submitted to VTAC.
