The English Language Institute (ELI) offers a wide variety of ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) programs, including General English and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses which prepare students for entry to TAFE, Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies at Victoria University.

The ELI is accredited by the National English Language Teaching Accreditation Scheme (NEAS) Australia, is an English Australia (EA) Member College and is also a member of the University English Centre of Australia (UECA). This provides an additional guarantee that international students will enjoy being taught by highly qualified teaching staff, first-class facilities, limited class sizes and a wide range of support services.
