Booking Your Flight

International flights to Australia can be fully booked particularly from December to February and in May to July. Once your course application has been fully processed and the course tuition fees paid in full and your student visa granted, you should make a flight booking to Melbourne. You MUST arrive well before your course commencement date and be able to participate in the VU Orientation program.

Your journey to Melbourne

For most of you, the trip to Melbourne will involve a long flight. Here are some tips to make the trip more comfortable:

• get a good night's rest before the flight
• drink lots of water prior to and during the flight
• pack your own bags
• wear light clothes
• do not carry packages for strangers
• avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine during the flight
