Semester 2, 2008 Staff Parking Permit for Postgraduate Research Students
If you find it difficult to obtain parking at VU, you may want to consider applying for a yellow staff parking permit. The permit will allow you to park in the staff car park (yellow permit area) at all campuses except the City campus. The permit will be valid until 5 December 2008.
To apply for the permit, you must complete the permit application form and send it along with your supervisor's supporting email acknowledging all points made in your application to Katie Batterham by 27 August 2008. The application can be mailed to the following address or email to Katie.Batterham@vu.edu.au.

Mental health Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme: Clinical Psychology

Heart Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships and Summer Scholarships Call for applications
The Heart Foundation is offering financial support to undertake research in the area of cardiovascular disease and related disorders. The work may be pursued as an investigation in biomedical, clinical or public health research (including health services research). The Heart Foundation is now calling for applications for funding beginning in 2009.

DADD Scholarships for Study and Research in Germany
The scholarships offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) are awarded to advanced students, young higher education graduates and academics from all fields of science and humanities as well as from fields of music and art. Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (2007)
Jointly published by The Australian Vice Chancellors' Committee and the National Health and Medical Research Council. The Code sets out the responsibilities of individual researchers, research students and institutions relating to the conduct of research activity including principles of responsible research, data collection and management, publications, authorship, collaborative research, research supervision, peer review, conflict of interest and more.
