Associate Professor Leicha Bragg is the Associate Dean Learning and Teaching at Victoria University (VU) Online in the College of Arts, Business, Law, Education and IT.
Associate Professor Leicha Bragg has worked in Higher Education with academics, and preservice and practising teachers, for over two decades. Leicha heads the Business and Education portfolios, providing quality and assurance for the development and end-to-end delivery of Education, Business, and Financial Planning programs in the Master degrees, Graduate Diplomas, Graduate Certificates, and Bachelor degrees. Her current role draws on her extensive research and experience in providing high quality academic education and pedagogical support in the online learning space.
Leicha is the author of 80+ journal articles and four teacher resource books, including a widely used Higher Education mathematics education text. Leicha was the Project Director for the Department of Education (Victoria, Australia) Birth to Level 10 Numeracy Guide, and co- developed the Mathscots series of animations and resources for schools and families. Leicha’s current collaborative research projects focus on: Online Adult Teaching and Learning; Teaching Mathematics for Social Justice; Mathematical Games; and, Online Professional Development.
Leicha has been successful in obtaining collaborative research income that totals more than $500,000 (AUD).
