If you want to learn about adventure with highly qualified outdoor professionals through hands on experiences in rock climbing, white water rafting, hiking, and skiing as well as develop an in-depth understanding about outdoor recreation, education and adventure sports, then Outdoor Recreation Leadership is for you. The use of industry partnerships and critical evidence based practice to inform teaching will ensure that during the course you will learn all the skills needed to lead in the outdoors. Outdoor Recreation Leadership provides the opportunity for students to build highly valued character traits including communication, group leading, integrity, cultural sensitivity, and psychological resilience.
