Bichok is a highly motivated and qualified lecturer/ teacher with the First Year College and teaches Youth and Community Units. Previously, Bichok has been a teacher in sociology for more than six years at VU.
Bichok’s academic experience developed with strong focus on creating a student-centred inclusive learning environment. He works closely with industry partners to develop engaging learning activities for students giving them meaningful real-life experience in preparation for a better life after university study.
Before migrating to Australia Bichok had many years of experience in politics and public services serving in various roles including being a Member of State Parliament in Ethiopia. Bichok has been an active community leader and awarded with certificates of leadership and participation by African Communities in South Eastern Melbourne.
