Prior to entering academia, Joanna spent 22 years in the not-for-profit sector and has held a range of management and marketing roles in arts organisations with a strong focus on innovative and impactful branding strategies.
Her research interest broadly focuses on consumer experiences and the effects of social influence on consumer behaviour.
Joanna is a Course Chair for the Master of Marketing. Joanna also teaches and coordinates a number of undergraduate and postgraduate units in:
- consumer behaviour
- brand management
- service marketing
- marketing strategy.
