Canada
Guelph is situated in southwestern Ontario, Canada and is 1.5 hours from Toronto and 2.5 hours from Niagara Falls. Guelph is environmentally clean and safe, it has a vibrant arts culture, and is consistently voted one of the most liveable cities in Canada. The University of Guelph has been operating in various forms for over 150 years, but was officially recognised as a university 50 years ago. There are approximately 28,000 students enrolled across three campuses.

Located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is noted for its mild weather and for its beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and Olympic Mountains. The University of Victoria is ideally situated to enjoy numerous outdoor activities and is a short ferry ride or flight to Vancouver on the mainland.

Exchange students are restricted from taking Law, Business, Education and Engineering subjects. Intake is once a year for both Semester 1 and 2 (the VU application deadline is 30 November). Please contact Victoria Abroad for further information.

Nanaimo is located on the west coast of Canada. Situated on the eastern side of Vancouver Island, Nanaimo is a tourist destination blessed with the natural beauty and only a short ferry ride or flight away from Vancouver. The mild weather of the island and closeness to the Canadian Rockies makes this an ideal location for those who enjoy the outdoors.

Western University is located in London, Ontario in Canada's south-east. London is only 170km east of Toronto (Canada's largest city) and is only a short distance from the US border. London is a hub of cultural activity with plenty to do on campus or in the city itself. The Western University campus is centrally located with most services and facilities within walking distance.
For students wishing to go on exchange with a friend or a group; Western is a great option as VU have guaranteed places available here.
Study options
VU students can study at all colleges at Western except the Ivey Business School, Western Law and Schulich Medicine & Dentistry.
Western University is well known for kinesiology (sports, recreation management and exercise science) and VU send many students to study kinesiology each year.

Mexico
IBERO is located in is located in Mexico City's western zone of Santa Fe, a key business district for national and international enterprises and one of the major poles of investment in Latin America. English taught programs are available at Iberoamericana University in International Business, International Relations and Exchange students can take part in the Spanish Language and Latin American Culture Program.

United States of America (USA)
Consistently recognised as a “Most Innovative” university, Belmont University draws more than 8,300 students who represent every state and more than 36 countries. Located in the central hub of Greenville and Pitt County, East Carolina University is only a 60-90 minute drive to sandy beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal Waterway and along the Pamlico and Neuse rivers. The university occupies much of Greenville with a large percentage of the towns population being ECU students.

Set in the tropical city of Miami, Florida, Florida International University is only 30 minutes from Miami's famous South Beach and 4 hours from Orlando's theme parks. FIU’s main campus spans 342 acres. It’s home to many of FIU’s most recognised school and colleges, as well as the FIU Arena and FIU Stadium. It features a variety of restaurants and residence options and a spacious, fully equipped recreation centre in a lush, suburban setting. Florida International University has the perfect mix of sunny days and sweltering fun filled nights with a mix of U.S. and Latin culture.

The Montclair University campus is a leafy, 250-acre oasis in the town of Montclair, New Jersey, just 14 miles from New York City. With more than 18,500 graduate and undergraduate students in six schools and colleges, it provides the advantages of a large university. Yet students receive the individual attention you'd expect from a much smaller institution.

Nestled between the historic Hudson River to the east and the majestic Shawangunk Mountains to the west, New Paltz provides some of the most breathtakingly beautiful countryside on the east coast. The town is largely populated with State University of New York (SUNY) students including many exchange students who can either enjoy the towns renowned adventure culture or take a short 2 hour bus ride to New York City.

El Paso is adjacent to the state of New Mexico, and borders the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. Known as the Sun City, this location provides plenty of opportunities to experience American and Latin culture, with many festivals and events occurring through the year.
