Our mission
The Health Policy team’s mission is to inform and influence the development of public policy, through the translation and application of evidence, to improve health outcomes in Australia. This includes a strong focus on chronic disease prevention, health system improvements and reducing health inequities related to socioeconomic disadvantage.
Analyse evidence
We analyse data and evidence to identify key health issues in Australia and develop policy solutions.
Support debate
We support and inform public discussion regarding Australia’s health challenges and opportunities.
Advise policymakers
We assist and advise policymakers in implementing reform by providing evidence-backed recommendations.
