Della is lecturer in Osteopathy at Victoria University where she plays a key role in educating osteopathic students in the fields of clinical anatomy and pain science. She has been a dedicated member of the university’s Osteopathic Medicine Discipline for many years.
Della has a particular clinical and research interest in running injury prevention and rehabilitation and clinical assessment of gait and foot posture. She enjoys clinical work in private practice in Melbourne’s inner north.
Della graduated from Victoria University’s Osteopathy program in 2003 with a master’s degree in health sciences, majoring in osteopathy. Her master’s thesis investigated the critical factors in safe and effective manipulation.
Della has since gone on to undertake post-professional training and education in Tertiary Education, Clinical Pilates and Rehabilitation, Running Biomechanics and Running Injury Prevention.
Della is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA), Medicare, TAC and the Victorian Workcover Authority.
She is an Academic member of the Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia and a full member of Sports Medicine Australia.
