The clouds may have been dark but the bikes still flew high in the sky when the ShowTime FMX Team landed at Victoria University’s Sunshine Campus this week, courtesy of team sponsor Milwaukee Tools.
The Showtime FMX Team is the most experienced freestyle motocross team in Australia, averaging 250 national performances a year. Students and staff were thrilled by the aerial exploits of Freestyle Moto X legends Kain Saul and Brad Burch as the pair put on a gravity defying exhibition of skill.
Trades College students had the opportunity to showcase their own skills in a drilling competition. It was trade against trade as students competed for a $460 Milwaukee Tools hammer drill/driver kit. Carpentry student Christopher Agnew powered through the heats to win the eagerly sought after prize.
A big thank you to Milwaukee Power Tools for bringing the team to Sunshine Campus.
