Diwali in the West Festival
Victoria University (VU) is proud to sponsor the Diwali in the West Festival. You can experience cultural activities and local community market stalls. There will also be a special guest appearance by Rima Das, Miss India Australia Bollywood 2008.
Come and celebrate the Festival of Lights with something for everyone:

Miss Bollywood Talent Contest 2009
The 2009 contest will be held on the day with a fashion parade featuring Miss India Australia Bollywood.
Girls (18-24) interested in participating should email [email protected] with their profile and the area of talent they would like to showcase.
Indian Bazaar
Indian savouries and snacks - Chaat, Dahi Bhalla, Pani Puri, Samosa, Chana Bhatura, Traditional Diwali Sweets. Lunch packs
Cricket Match
Cricket celebrities and students organised by Cricket Victoria -12 noon to 2.30pm.
