Defibrillation - Full course
This event has already taken place.
Complete your Defibrillation qualification. This course will equip you to safely use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in an emergency situation.
The course focus includes:
- cardiac rhythms
- action of the heart
- safe storage/use of an AED unit.
Minimum age: 14 years

Cost: $60.00
Pay by credit card, EFTPOS or cash on registration at VU Aquatic and Fitness Centre, Building L, Level 0, Footscray Park Campus.
Registration closes two weeks before your chosen course date.
Pre-requisites:
To complete this course you must have the following:
- CPR certificate
- Senior First Aid certificate
- Pool Lifeguard certificate.
You must provide a copy of these certificates with your registration form.
Please register via the VU Sport and Health short course program (July-December 2014).
Accreditation
This course is accredited and recognised through Life Saving Victoria & Swinburne and is facilitated by VU Sport & Health in 2014.
