Application assistance sessions
This event has already taken place.
We're holding application assistance sessions for prospective mature-age students.
If you finished high school more than a year ago and are considering returning to study, our application assistance sessions are designed to provide friendly and helpful guidance.
This is your chance to:
- ask questions
- get first hand assistance with your application
- get helpful tips and advice
- remove the worry and stress of applying for tertiary study.
There will be a 20 minute presentation. The remaining time is to assist participants to apply online via VTAC or direct to Victoria University.

- Dates of permanent resident visa
- ATAR
- Transcripts of previous education
- Referees for courses eg: Graduate Diploma of Counselling
- Additional information for supplementary forms eg: Bachelor of Social Work - all applicants must complete an A305 form
- A statement of interest (500 words) outlining your reasons for selecting the course, previous studies and work/life experiences, knowledge of the industry, what you hope to achieve and anticipated career path, and other qualities and attributes.
