With over 14 years’ experience working with communities and individuals all over Australia, Shelley has worked with and alongside people who strive for justice and equity in all its forms.
She is passionate about grassroots, strength based activation and applying creativity to find solutions for some of the world’s trickiest challenges.
She has been a Teaching Focused Academic at VU since 2017 and has taught and designed unit content across year levels from second to final year within the Bachelor of Social Work program. She currently balances her teaching role while also managing the Working Together with Men project which is a sector initiate to prevent violence against women for HealthWest Partnership.
Shelley is an innovative project and program designer, who is also known for implementing ideas that have never been done before or ideas that seem impossible.
