About Jora Broerse
Jora Broerse is a Research Fellow in Health Policy. Her professional passion is to reduce health inequalities and achieve better health outcomes for all through policy change. Jora has a research track record in sociology and public health. She has communicated research results at international academic conferences, as well as peer-reviewed publications and policy reports.
Jora is near completion of her PhD in the Institute for Health and Sport (expected graduation: October 2021). Her PhD is an ethnography that takes an interdisciplinary approach by bridging sociological and urban studies to discuss the use of public space for physical activity in the context of multiculturalism. Jora holds a research master in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam (2015-2017).
