Jen Stockwell is a highly regarded cyber security leader with over 15 years' experience at the forefront of national security and technology risk management. Her expertise spans strategy, governance, and operations, with a proven track record of success in both government and critical infrastructure sectors.

Currently, Jen serves as the National Security & Geopolitical Risk Principal at Telstra, where she leads a high-performing team and oversees strategic initiatives on cyber threats, physical security, and technology supply chain risk. She is a trusted advisor to the executive and Board, providing guidance on emerging cyber legislation and its impact on Telstra's operations.

Jen is deeply committed to advancing cyber security at the national level. She has held leadership positions on various boards and advisory panels, including the Australian Women in Security Network (AWSN), RMIT Industry Advisory Board on Cyber, and the Victorian Cyber Strategy Expert Advisory Panel. In 2020, she was recognised as Australia's Most Outstanding Woman in Security.

Key achievements:

  • Developed Australia's 2023-2030 Cyber Security Strategy with the Minister for Home Affairs and Cyber Security.
  • Initiated and designed Telstra's world-leading Cleaner Pipes program, protecting millions of customers from cyber threats and scams.
  • Led the development of security risk management programs for Telstra, ensuring compliance with Australian and international legislation.
