About Chitra DeSilva

Dr Chitra De Silva Lokuwaduge is a Lecturer in Accounting at Victoria University, Melbourne. She has over 25 years' experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Sri Lanka and Australia. Her PhD thesis researched governance and performance of Australian universities. Chitra's research interests include corporate governance, corporate reporting, corporate social responsibility and environmental social and governance (ESG) reporting and assurance.

Chitra received a grant from Accounting & Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) to organise the Environmental Social and Governance for Sustainability Colloquium at Victoria University Business School in October 2019.
