About Lucy Lu

Lucy is a Senior Lecturer with the College of Sport, Health and Engineering. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and a PhD in Cardiovascular Pharmacology. Before becoming a nursing academic at VU, Lucy was a research fellow in the Dept. of Medicine at the University of Melbourne.

Lucy’s diverse research activities have led to over 30 peer-reviewed journal publications (with a h-index of 15 and a citation rate of 1052) and several research grants in the fields across Nursing, Pharmacology and Medicine. Lucy is also an invited reviewer for several international journals.

Appointed by Beijing Municipal Commission of Education (equivalent to the Department of Education and Training Victoria, Australia), Lucy holds an adjunct professor position at the Capital Medical University in Beijing, China.
