About Rhiannon Patten
Dr Rhiannon Patten is an early career researcher at the Institute for Health and Sport at Victoria University and an accredited exercise physiologist. After being awarded her PhD in 2021, Rhiannon started working as a postdoctoral research fellow on the 'Waitlist project'. This project is currently designing an e-health program for individuals on an orthopaedic waitlist that will provide knowledge and support necessary to improve their health and wellbeing.
Prior to this, Rhiannon completed her PhD in women's health, exploring the impact of exercise intensity on metabolic, reproductive and mental health outcomes in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Rhiannon has published 15 peer review journal articles, including first author papers in leading physiology, endocrinology and reproductive medicine.
