About Xianglong Locky Liu

Xianglong Locky Liu is a Research Fellow at the Centre of Policy Studies (CoPS). He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Melbourne. In his PhD study, he applied various econometric techniques to investigate systemic risk stemming from interactions among different sectors of the financial market, then assessed policy effectiveness. His core responsibilities at CoPS include the development of practical economic models and databases for the provision of economic policy advice. Locky's areas of interest include applied macro-finance, applied economic modelling and policy analysis.
