Our VU Futsal Program will be held on Wednesday 2 October.

About the Fustal program
What is futsal?
Futsal is a high intensity, fast paced, dynamic, non-violent and enjoyable 5-a-side version of soccer that caters for both male and female participants. It is the only 5-a-side version of football officially recognised by FIFA, and is one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
Futsal is played on a smaller, hard-court surface and usually indoors, making it the perfect sport for all weather conditions.
Activities
Your child will be individually assessed and placed with players of a similar age and skill level. They will take part in drills, one-on-one simulations, small-sided games and common conditioning activities specific to soccer.

When the ref's final whistle blows, kids will walk off court with:
- improved crucial game skills including:
- kicking
- passing
- dribbling
- shooting (penalties and simulated game)
- greater game awareness and strategy such as:
- attacking and defending skills
- formations
- one-on-one play
- side-throws
- corner kicks
- heading
- blocking
- shooting.
What to bring
To get set for a day of activities, your child will need:
- runners (no outdoor boots)
- shorts
- t-shirt
- hat
- sunscreen
- water bottle
- snacks
- healthy lunch.

Please note: Our programs cannot be claimed on the Child Care Benefit (CCB) claim.
