The Australasian Universities Building Education Association (AUBEA) conference for 2024 will be hosted by Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia from 24-27 November 2024. AUBEA2024 is organised by the Built Environment program within the Institute of Sustainable Industries and Liveable Cities (ISILC).

With the theme of Building for a Sustainable Future: Innovations, Challenges, and Collaboration, AUBEA2024 aims to bring together researchers, educators, students, and industry professionals from Australia and beyond. The conference offers a platform to share knowledge, collaborate, and discuss current issues in the construction and built environment sectors while shaping their future.

Paper submissions are now closed. All submitted papers will undergo a thorough double-blind peer review process, with independent referees selected from the appointed scientific committee. All accepted conference papers will be published in Scopus Index proceedings, providing significant visibility and recognition within the academic community. Additionally, selected papers will be invited to submit to a Special Issue in journal publications, with a few journals already lined up for this purpose. The conference will feature several awards to honor the best papers presented, highlighting excellence in research and innovation in the field.

Organised by a committee of VU academics, the conference will be held at our City Campus, with discounted accommodation offered at nearby hotels.
