Are you ready to begin your University studies with confidence?

We’re excited to invite you to the VU Ready Bootcamp – an interactive on-campus program designed to help you transition smoothly into University life and set you up for success in your studies.

The Bootcamp consists of four 3-hour workshop sessions across Thursday 26 and Friday 27 July, 2024 at Footscray Park Campus.

All attendees will receive a free lunch.

These sessions and activities will set you up for success during your time studying at university. You can mix and match individual or multiple sessions, to suit your needs and schedule.

Afternoon workshop (1pm-4pm)

Session 2: How to get the most out of your classes

This session will teach you skills in:

presenting

public-speaking

digital and information.

This session will help you sharpen your skills in:

critical thinking

teading and note-taking

research skills

understanding assignment rubrics.

Session 4: How to write your first assignment

This session will cover:

what to expect from your first assignment and tips from current students

academic integrity.
