Victoria University First Nations Fund
The Victoria University First Nations Fund was established at Victoria University (VU) in 2022 and has given Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students the opportunity to study at VU at a variety of levels.
The Fund aims to enrich and empower the educational experience of current and future Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
There are two tiers to the program:

Kenyah’s professional and personal goals are to create positive change, especially for First Nations peoples. She has a particular interest in working towards changing policies around the incarceration of First Nations youth. Kenyah accessed the VU First Nations Fund to help with airfares and study support to pursue a Bachelor of Youth Work at VU.
