Overview

Gain the qualification needed to serve alcohol under Victorian state laws with the Responsible Service of Alcohol SITSS00071 short course at Victoria University.

This one-day course provides a set of skills for you to sell, serve or supply alcohol responsibly.

If you work in hospitality and events, or any other area where you sell, promote, deliver or supply alcohol to customers, this course is for you. It also suitable for licensees who are ultimately responsible for managing the responsible service of alcohol.

Learning at our Footscray Nicholson Campus, you will develop skills in the following areas:

  • legal requirements relating to the sale and service of alcohol
  • excessive consumption of alcohol and duty of care
  • monitoring of patron intoxication levels and management of difficult customers
  • alcohol consumption and Australian standard drink facts.
