As part of the application process, applicants must:
complete a Pre-training Review (PTR) to determine suitability for admission.
hold an Unrestricted Electrician's Licence or equivalent issued in an Australian State or Territory (evidence is required)
provide evidence of successful completion of the required pre-requisite unit either UEEEL0039 or UEERE0051.
Please note, unit UEERE0054 is delivered as part of this course and does not form part of the admission requirements. Applicants who have passed this unit prior to course commencement may be assessed for credit towards this unit.
The pre-requisite unit requirements are as follows:
UEERE0061 Design grid-connected photovoltaic power supply systems
- UEERE0054 Conduct site survey for grid-connected photovoltaic and battery storage systems and UEEEL0039 Design, install and verify compliance and functionality of general electrical installations or UEERE0051 Apply electrical principles to renewable energy design.
