Kick-start your career in web development with our Undergraduate Certificate in Web Development and Programming.

This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed for development of modern websites and connecting them to backend servers located in the cloud. You will learn to:

build websites using Bootstrap and Wordpress
write computer programs in Python and PHP
describe Object Oriented Programming principles and apply them in your programs
design MySQL databases and connect them to websites
integrate simple REST web services with websites and deploy them to the cloud.

On completion, you will be able to continue your study in the Diploma of Information Technology with full credit.

: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Describe fundamental Information Technology concepts relating to backend web development and programming;

Write computer programs using two computer languages;

Build websites using modern frameworks; and

Design databases and integrate them with the websites.
