PEXA (Property Exchange Australia)

PEXA (Property Exchange Australia) is Australia’s online property exchange network. It assists members – such as lawyers, conveyancers and financial institutions – to lodge documents with Land Registries and complete financial settlements electronically.

Established in 2023, the Major Alliance between VU and PEXA helps our students to graduate job-ready, with digital skills for their future careers. In turn, the partnership helps PEXA to grow sustainable talent pathways and support the learning and development of PEXA staff. 

Benefits and positive results from this partnership include the following:

• Through the PEXA Graduate Program and internship agreement, two VU graduates have been employed by PEXA and five students have completed PEXA internships.
• Since 2023, PEXA has contributed $30,000 towards merit-based student awards for graduating technology students and the VU student support fund.
• PEXA regularly contributes to VU academic and educational activities through guest lectures and by having two PEXA staff appointed to the Bachelor of IT Industry Advisory Board in 2023.
• PEXA also contributes to staff and student leadership training and development through the delivery of industry-led skills workshops, and collaborates with VU on events such as Open Day, O-Fest, tree planting, and staff wellness days.
• VU supports PEXA to deliver internal learning and development programs for employees.
