This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop a big data strategy that reflects the needs and capabilities of an organisation and supports its business goals. It involves applying business processes and information relating to policy issues and new and emerging technologies during strategy development.It applies to those who work in a broad range of industries and job roles who lead strategic approaches to big data analysis.
Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce & extend knowledge and skill competence within set & controlled parameters in accordance with each unit's learning outcomes & performance criteria requirements, including the setting of work based practical application tasks designed to provide evidence of competence outcomes, within periodic and scheduled timelines.
