Universities are, increasingly, designing and teaching more courses in block and intensive formats. The intention of this unit is to provide students with a conceptual and critical understanding of the growing body of research around approaches and principles to learning and teaching in block and intensive delivery. Students will critically analyse the suitability of various curriculums to design block and intensive learning by considering the effectiveness of digital technologies. A range of readings and reflective practices will contribute to implementing units aligned with block principles.
