Overview

This unit will explore cutting-edge educational practices from a global perspective. The unit examines what research and practice tells us about modern successful approaches to teaching and learning. It is designed to challenge existing practice by working through examples drawn from the vast array of successful global education experiences. Some of the questions posed during this unit include: What are the most effective ways to teach? How do we know that these approaches and practices work? How might this new knowledge inform our own practices? The unit will highlight which evidence-based practices have the most effect, and why?
