This unit will allow students to apply, integrate and further develop their theoretical knowledge gained from earlier units. This theoretical unit will introduce students to pharmacology and pathophysiology associated with Immunological, respiratory and neurological conditions. Evidence based assessment and management of these patients will be explored within the paramedic context. Students will apply their knowledge as professionally and culturally safe clinicians underpinned by the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
