Overview

The Enterprise Network Management unit aims to provide students with an understanding of issues relevant to enterprise networks and related technologies, as well practical skill and techniques to manage the enterprise network. Topics studied include Enterprise Network Infrastructure, Domain Name Systems, Network Group Policy Design and Implementation, Security Planning and Administration, System Maintenance and Trouble Shooting and their related technologies.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. Design and develop solutions for enterprise network architecture;
  2. Construct and configure small-scale enterprise network;
  3. Analyse and identify potential issues in managing enterprise network; and
  4. Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
