Overview

The purpose of this first semester project unit is to develop a project concept and plan; projects will be implemented in the second semester unit Studio Project 2. The ways that these are developed will vary with the students' specialisations, interests and career orientation. Projects may be developed individually in specialised groups or interdisciplinary groups. In developing this project, students are expected to utilise their learning throughout the course in their core units and specialisations. Students are encouraged to assist each other, and working groups will be established to support student collaboration. Projects may be undertaken with an industry and/or community partner.
