Thus, this unit provides knowledge of business operation in the global arena, and addresses factors that drive international business engagement in the era of emerging market dominance across trade and foreign investment. The unit examines current global business debates, theories and practices and equips students with strategic skills to analyse and apply micro and macro aspects of global business to organisational management. The unit focuses on providing a deeper understanding of global context, taking a holistic view by evaluating alternative host market contexts and examining cross-national differences when formulating strategies to further enhance graduate capabilities in working in multi-national businesses. High level analytical and planning skills will be required to make international business strategic decisions and prepare relevant business plans or entry strategies into a foreign market.
