Overview

The unit is designed for those who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Migration Law and Practice and the Graduate Diploma in Migration Law and who now wish to undertake the capstone exam prescribed by legislative instrument IMMI 18/003.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. Critically analyse and discuss the role and regulation of migration agents.
  2. Formulate and implement appropriate strategies to effectively advise clients and address their issues in the form of simulation interviews and practical case studies.
  3. Discriminate between ethical and unethical practices in offering migration advice and advocacy.
