Footscray Nicholson Recreation Centre
The Recreation Centre is located on Level 5 in Hoadley Building D at Victoria University's Footscray Nicholson Campus.
It features a high-quality multi-purpose indoor court suitable for a range of sport and recreation activities.
Court hire
The multi-purpose court is available for hire by Victoria University (VU) students, staff, and members of the community.
The space can cater for a range of activities, including:
- Basketball
- Netball
- Futsal
- Badminton
- Pickleball
- Dodgeball.

You can check availability and book the court online using our booking system. Read the VU sport and fitness facility hire terms and conditions before submitting your booking request.

- 'Location' will appear as 'Footscray Park Aquatic and Fitness Centre'

The Nicholson Street court is an unmanned facility and is available for pre-booked activities only. A confirmed booking is required before attending the facility.
