VU continues to rank in top 2%

VU continues to be ranked in the top 2% of universities worldwide following the release of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University 2020 Rankings.

The Times Higher Education (THE) World University 2020 Rankings are the only global university performance table to judge research-intensive universities across all of these core missions:

• teaching
• research
• knowledge transfer
• international outlook.

Competition in these rankings is intensifying globally with an additional 138 ranked institutions in THE this year compared with last year.

Our ranking reflects the significant positive transformation agenda successfully being rolled out across the University to improve outcomes for our students and the wider community.

We are proud of what we continue to achieve through the introduction of the VU Block Model, and the consolidation of our research and research training into VU Research.
