As part of the application process, applicants must:
* complete a Pre-training Review (PTR) to determine suitability for admission.
* hold an Unrestricted Electrician's Licence or equivalent issued in an Australian State or Territory (evidence is required)
* provide evidence of successful completion of the required pre-requisite units either UEEEL0039 or UEERE0051, and unit UEEEL0012.
Please note, unit UEERE0054 is delivered as part of this course and does not form part of the admission requirements. Applicants who have passed this unit prior to course commencement may be assessed for credit towards this unit.
The pre-requisite unit requirements are as follows:
UEERE0061 Design grid-connected photovoltaic power supply systems
* UEERE0054 Conduct site survey for grid-connected photovoltaic and battery storage systems; and
* UEEEL0039 Design, install and verify compliance and functionality of general electrical installations; or
* UEERE0051 Apply electrical principles to renewable energy design.
UEERE0080 Install photovoltaic power conversion equipment to grid
* UEEEL0012 Install low voltage wiring, appliances, switchgear and associated accessories; and
* UEERE0054 Conduct site survey for grid-connected photovoltaic and battery storage systems
UEERE0081 Install photovoltaic systems to power conversion equipment
* UEEEL0012 Install low voltage wiring, appliances, switchgear and associated accessories; and
* UEERE0054 Conduct site survey for grid-connected photovoltaic and battery storage systems; or
* UEERE0055 Conduct site survey for off-grid photovoltaic/genset systems
