Maths Learning Advisors at VU can help you with general mathematics and statistics, physics and chemistry. 

We can also assist with subject-specific question and help you:

  • build your numeracy and maths skills to ensure you succeed in your course 
  • develop high-level skills across maths and science subjects like statistics, chemistry and physics
  • develop essential mathematical skills and understand mathematical processes
  • understand coursework
  • prepare for assessment tasks in data analysis, chemistry, physics and more
  • help you prepare for the numeracy component of the LANTITE test.

Book a 1-1 appointment with a Maths Advisor

To connect with a Maths Learning Advisor please book a 1-1 appointment. 

Appointments last 45 minutes and can be booked between 8am–6pm, Monday-Friday during teaching periods. You can book up to one appointment per week. Both online and on-campus appointments are available.

We understand that you may wish to request an advisor with an ally status or who identifies with a particular gender, faith or other status. Contact  [email protected] with your request so we can help you find the right Maths Advisor for your needs.

Note: If you want to discuss an assessment, bring a draft you’re working on and any associated assessment guidelines or marking rubrics to your appointment.
