Learning Hub: academic & study skills
The Learning Hub offers personalised support, workshops and online resources to help you develop the skills you need to succeed at any stage of your studies.
This service is free for all VU students.
There’s a variety ways our Learning Hub advisors can help you as you study.
Whether you prefer to connect with us online or in-person, one-on-one, in a group or at your own pace, we’ve got you covered with the following services.
Where to find us in-person
You can get individual help with your written assignments and study skills at our on-campus 'Drop-In' sessions.
Our Learning Advisors are available weekly (excludes non-teaching periods and public holidays) to support you with general assignment enquiries and study skills. On-campus Drop-Ins will be offered from Monday 24 February 2025.

Support for students with English as an additional language
English Conversation Club
Join other students from non-English speaking backgrounds to:
- practise your spoken English
- increase your confidence
- improve your vocabulary and pronunciation
- practise understanding of spoken English
- play fun games and meet new friends
- enjoy free lunch-time snacks.
