Victoria University offers a range of pathways into university degrees through partnerships with a variety of providers. We understand the value of certificates, diplomas and advanced diplomas and want to recognise your qualification by guaranteeing entry or providing credits into your future studies.

SEDA Group (SEDA) is an applied learning education provider, committed to changing the lives of young people through individual learning and industry experience. SEDA and VU have worked together since 2013 to create a strong partnership and opportunities for SEDA students to pursue university study.
Students complete a dual Diploma of Sport/Diploma of Business program and upon graduation from SEDA are eligible to pathway into the following VU courses, many of which offer advanced standing credit:

*Students must graduate with a Diploma of Business to be eligible to pathway into these courses. All other pathways are available for students who complete a Diploma of Sport only.

Students who complete a Diploma of Beauty Therapy at the Australian Academy of Beauty and Spa Therapy are eligible to pathway into Bachelor of Dermal Sciences and may apply for advanced standing credit.
There are pathways available from a number of diploma courses at Bendigo Kangan Institute.
Students are able to access courses such as:
- Bachelor of Business
- Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours)
- Bachelor of Dermal Sciences
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Leadership
- Bachelor of Laws
Students may apply for advanced standing credit.
Students who complete a Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) at Builders Academy Australia are eligible to pathway into the:
- Bachelor of Building Design
- Bachelor of Building Surveying
- Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours).
Students may apply for advanced standing credit.
Students who complete a Diploma of Information Technology at Business Leadership Institute (BLI) are eligible to pathway into the Bachelor of Information Technology.
Students who complete a Diploma of Leadership and Management are eligible to pathway into the Bachelor of Business.
Students may apply for advanced standing credit.
Students who complete a Diploma of Information Technology at Education Centre of Australia (ECA) College are eligible to pathway into the Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Cyber Security and may apply for advanced standing credit.
Students who complete a number of business related diplomas at ECA are eligible to pathway into the Bachelor of Business and may apply for advanced standing credit.
Students who complete a Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) are eligible to pathways into several business related Master level courses.
Students who complete a Diploma of Beauty Therapy at Ella Baché College are eligible to pathway into Bachelor of Dermal Sciences. Students may apply advanced standing credit.
Students who complete a Diploma of Beauty Therapy at Elly Lukas Beauty Therapy College are eligible to pathway into Bachelor of Dermal Sciences.
Students may apply for advanced standing credit.
Students who complete GB1 Diploma of Business (Higher Education) at Federation University Australia (FUA) are eligible to pathway into the Bachelor of Business (Hospitality and Tourism).
Students may apply for advanced standing credit.
Students who complete a Diploma of Information Technology at Global Business College of Australia (GBCA) are eligible to pathway into the Bachelor of Information Technology and may apply for advanced standing credit.
There are pathways available from a number of diploma courses at The Gordon Institute of TAFE. Students are able to access courses such as Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours).
Students may apply for advanced standing credit.
Students who complete a Diploma of Screen and Media at Holmesglen College of TAFE are eligible to pathway into Bachelor of Screen Media.
Students may apply for advanced standing credit.
Students who complete a Diploma of Early Childhood Education at Melbourne City Institute of Education (MCIE) are eligible to pathway into the:

Students who complete a Certificate IV in Education Support at MCIE are eligible to pathway into the Diploma of Education Studies. This pathway is guaranteed entry only, no credit is given.
Victoria University has a partnership with Professional Golfers Association (PGA) for a pathway from their 0810NAT Diploma of Golf Management to our Bachelor of Sport Management.
If you have successfully completed the 0810NAT Diploma of Golf Management you will be granted unspecified credit for all of year one of Bachelor of Sport Management, and enrol directly into the second year.
Students who complete a Diploma of Beauty Therapy at TAFE NSW are eligible to pathway into Bachelor of Dermal Sciences.
Students may apply for advanced standing credit.
VU has a partnership in place with Victoria Police which allows prosecutors to pathway into Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) with advanced standing credit.
