Find resources
There are multiple ways of finding, accessing and using library resources.
You will need to log in with your MyVU username and password to view full-text items when accessing resources off-campus:
- search across our range of resources with Library search
- access individual databases
- access individual eJournals.
If an item is unavailable within the Victoria University libraries you can also use other libraries or suggest an item to add to the Library collection.
For information about library services available to the VU researcher, see Library research support.
Use the Library has more information about our services, including on:
- accessing My Library
- booking a specialist PC.

LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn Learning is free for VU students and staff, replacing Lynda.com as a provider of short online courses.
- Students: Activate your LinkedIn Learning account in VU Collaborate when accessing your course resources.
- Staff: Activate your LinkedIn Learning account in MYVU portal for staff.
You can also access LinkedIn Learning in A-Z Databases.
Â
Google Scholar
Many VU library databases can also be searched through Google Scholar.
Fulltext journal articles and research papers can be retrieved by clicking on the "Find Fulltext @ VU Library" link when it appears to the right of your search results. This will happen automatically using the link above, and alternative settings can be found in the Library Guide Finding Resources.
